Introduction

The Main Characters:

 

Valerie Daughtry - A 22 year old college student studying to be a music manager. She lives with her two older brothers Mark 26 and Chris 24 in Sayreville, NJ. Her parents both died in a car accident when she was 16, so her brother Mark has to step up and be a father figure for her. She is very close with her brother Chris, besides their brother - sister relationship, they are like best friends. He is also very protective of her. She is currently single because her last relationship ended very badly, with her ex beating her up, so now she is very cautious about starting new relationships.

 

 

 

 

Richie Sambora - A 38 year old songwriter, and guitarist for Bon Jovi. He's currently single, between relationships. His best friend is Jon whom he trusts with his secrets. They can talk to each other about anything. Jon is like a brother to him since he doesn't have any siblings. His father is Adam and his Mother is Joan. His parents live in Woodbridge, NJ while he lives in Sayerville close to the band and his friends.

 

 

 

 

 

Chris Daughtry - One of Valerie's older brothers. Chris is two years older than Valerie and is a service manager for a tire and lube shop. When he's not working at the shop he sings in a band, hoping to one day make it big as a rock band. He's a little overly protective of Valerie especially since her last relationship. He doesn't want something like that to happen to her again.

 

 

 

 

Jon Bon Jovi  - 35 year old lead singer of Bon Jovi. He is married to his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley and they have a daughter, Stephanie. Jon and his family live in Sayreville, NJ. Richie is his best friend. He does some acting on the side when he's not making music.

 

 

 

 

Mark Daughtry - Valerie's oldest brother. Mark stepped in to help raise Valerie after their parents died in a car accident. He's 26 years old and he works at a factory as a supervisor.

 

 

Author's Note - This story takes place in 2002 during the Bounce tour, although in reality the Bounce album was released in October of 2002, for the sake of this story it'll be released earlier in the year. Also in this story we're going to pretend that Richie never married Heather., and he doesn't have any children. And Jon and Dorothea only have Stephanie and she's about 2 years old in this story. I've taken a few liberties with this story, it is entirely fiction. I originally started writing this story back in 1992 when I was a teenager, and I have decided to rework it now that I'm older and know more about things I didn't know then. So please bare with me and I hope you enjoy it.
